The PicoScope 5000E series comprises high-performance PC-based 16-bit oscilloscopes designed for high-precision measurements and fast signal analysis. The instruments combine high vertical resolution with a sampling rate of up to 2.5 GS/s, low inherent noise, and a wide dynamic range of over 73 dB.
The series is ideal for development, debugging, embedded systems, automotive electronics, power electronics, and scientific applications. Extensive features such as FFT spectrum analysis, serial protocol decoding, DeepMeasure, Math channels, and integrated function and arbitrary waveform generators enable versatile analysis of complex signals. The MSO models additionally expand the analog inputs by 16 digital channels for mixed-signal applications.
Differences from other models
The PicoScope 5463E MSO combines four analog channels with 16 digital inputs and offers a bandwidth of 100 MHz at full 16-bit resolution. This model is particularly well-suited for embedded development, digital circuits, and complex mixed-signal analysis where analog and digital signals must be captured simultaneously.
Compared to the 5462E MSO, the 5463E MSO features a higher bandwidth of 100 MHz as well as additional bandwidth filters. Compared to the 5464E MSO, the maximum bandwidth is lower. Like all standard models in the 5000E series, the device operates exclusively in 16-bit mode and does not have the additional 8-bit high-speed mode found in the 5000E+ variants.
