The Cinergia B2C+ ePlus series represents state-of-the-art DC test technology for research, development and industrial test applications. As a bidirectional, fully regenerative system, it can be operated both as a powerful source and as a precisely controllable electronic load. Thanks to its reverse power supply capability, it significantly reduces energy consumption and heat generation while offering the highest grid quality (THDi < 3 %, power factor > 0.98).
Typical applications include battery and energy storage testing, PV and charging infrastructure emulation, DC/DC and DC/AC converter testing, traction systems, smart grid simulations, avionics and power-hardware-in-the-loop (P-HiL). The series includes models from 7.5 kW to 200 kW with a standard voltage range of 20 – 800 V DC. Up to eight devices can be combined via master/slave coupling to form a complete system with up to 1,500 V or over 1 MW.
The B2C+200 is the most powerful model in the B2C+ ePlus series and was developed for high-current, high-power and long-term tests. It combines maximum performance with excellent dynamics and highest energy efficiency - ideal for battery pack test stations, industrial energy storage, traction systems or large-scale DC development environments.
The B2C+200 outperforms all other models in the series in terms of current capability and continuous power. While the B2C+160 with ±640 A is already designed for high-current applications, the B2C+200 with ±800 A offers significantly more reserves. This makes it ideal for large-volume battery systems, high-performance converters, energy storage clusters and electric drives in the megawatt range.
In comparison to the smaller models, the B2C+200 remains energy-efficient (= 92 %) despite its power and has the same precise control architecture and software interface. Thanks to its modular structure, it can be flexibly expanded or integrated into complex test environments where the highest performance, dynamics and accuracy are required.
