The PXIe-6509 module can use external digital modules such as B. Supply semiconductor relays directly. Each connection can be configured individually as an input or output as well as by the user with a pull-up or pull-down resistor. With the help of the programmable switch-on states of the PXIe-6509, the first output states can be configured via software in such a way that interference-free and safe operation is guaranteed when industrial actuators are connected. With the PXIe-6509, digital I / O watchdogs ensure the transition to a configurable, secure initial state in order to detect malfunctions and enable the system to be restored safely. The PXIe-6509 contains programmable input filters for removing interference pulses or signal peaks as well as for debouncing digital switches or relays using digital filters that can be set by the software.
