The cRIO-9054 is a rugged, deployable controller for data acquisition and control applications. It has an Intel Atom dual-core processor, an Artix-7 FPGA and four slots for modules of the C series. It runs the NI Linux Real-Time operating system and grants access to the I / O through NI-DAQmx drivers or the LabVIEW FPGA module. The controller offers precise, synchronized timing and deterministic data transmission over the network using the TSN (Time-Sensitive Networking) standard, which is ideally suited for distributed measurement, control and regulation applications. The controller has two Gigabit Ethernet ports, a USB 3.1 host port, a USB 2.0 device port, a trigger line and a slot for μSD cards for local data storage. The registered trademark Linux® is used pursuant to a sublicense from LMI, the exclusive licensee of Linus Torvalds, owner of the mark on a worldwide basis.
