The PXIe-5820 module is the baseband model of the second generation vector signal transceiver (VST) with 1 GHz bandwidth for complex IQ signals. The module combines a broadband digitizer and arbitrary generator for IQ signals with a powerful, user-programmable FPGA in a PXI Express form factor with 2 slots. The VST is suitable for a wide range of applications, including testing IQ baseband signals from wireless and cellular chipsets, enveloping digitally predistorted signals for power amplifiers, and generating and analyzing signals for new cellular standards such as 5G, 802.11ax and LTE- Advanced Pro.
