The Keysight (formerly Agilent's electronic measurement technology) power supplies of the N8900 series have a powerful control unit with a flexible output stage (auto-ranging output). The autorange function enables dynamic load behavior within the nominal power by automatically changing the current and voltage range of the device.

That means you can choose to set a higher output voltage or a higher output current at nominal power.

The power supplies have extensive protective circuits such as overvoltage protection (OVP), overcurrent protection (OCP) and overtemperature protection (OTP). The accuracy of the voltage measurement and programming is approx. 0.1%, with the current measurement and programming an accuracy of approx. 0.2% is achieved.

A variety of connection options are available for remote operation with a USB, GPIB, analog and LXI compatible LAN interface.

The power supplies of the N8900 series are ideal for high-load applications in test benches and industry, especially for automatic test benches. A master / slave operation with up to 4 power supplies enables up to 60 kW of power.
