The Keysight B2980C Series from Keysight Technologies offers specialized femto-/picoammeters and electrometers for high-precision measurements of extremely small electrical currents. With a resolution of up to 0.01 fA and powerful graphical analysis capabilities, the series is suitable for demanding laboratory and development applications. Thanks to graphical display options and high measurement speed, even dynamic or very weak signals can be reliably analyzed. The instruments are designed to efficiently support even complex measurement tasks in research, development, and quality assurance. The series is used particularly in the semiconductor industry, research laboratories, materials science, and sensor development. There, the instruments enable precise leakage current measurements, insulation analyses, and investigations of extremely high resistances. The Keysight B2987C is one of the most comprehensive models in the B2980C series. Like the B2985C, it offers precise current measurements as well as the functions of an electrometer and a high-resistance meter with measuring ranges up to 10 PΩ. Additionally, it supports voltage source functions, thus expanding its application possibilities in complex measurement setups. Compared to the B2981C and B2983C picoammeter models, the B2987C is designed for applications that require combining current, resistance, and charge measurements in a single instrument.
