The EL+ vHF/DC ePlus series from CINERGIA is a range of state-of-the-art, bidirectional electronic loads with energy recovery, specially developed for avionics and aerospace applications. It covers the frequency range from 360-900 Hz and is ideal for simulating real electrical loads in aircraft systems.
Thanks to its regenerative architecture, the series enables the energy consumed to be fed back into the grid, significantly reducing operating costs and heat generation. Typical fields of application are:

Focus on the EL30+ vHF/DC variant
The EL30+ vHF/DC is the high-performance core model in the series and offers a rated output of 27 kW. It combines high current capability with excellent dynamics and is ideal for complex avionics test systems, vehicle electrical system tests and power qualifications in research, development and production.
- AC (EL-HF): 40 A RMS per phase in 3-channel mode or 120 A RMS in 1-channel mode
- DC: ±30 A (3-channel) or ±90 A (1-channel). ±90 A (1-channel)
- Frequency range: 360-900 Hz in high-frequency mode
- Backfeed capability: >90 % efficiency, energy feedback into the grid
With its extended current range, the EL30+ enables the precise simulation of the dynamic load behavior of larger generators, distributors and avionics components. At the same time, it remains efficient, compact and fully regenerative - ideal for demanding test benches.
Comparison with the other models
The EL+ vHF/DC ePlus series comprises five power levels from 15 to 50 kW. The EL30+ is the balanced high-performance variant that offers the optimum balance of power, accuracy and efficiency for many test laboratories:
- EL15+ vHF/DC: 15 kW, AC 20/60 A, DC ±20/±60 A - compact for basic testing
- EL20+ vHF/DC: 20 kW, AC 26/78 A, DC ±25/±75 A - mid-range model for standard applications
- EL30+ vHF/DC: 27 kW, AC 40/120 A, DC ±30/±90 A - high-performance all-rounder for avionics testing

Compared to the smaller models, the EL30+ offers a significantly higher current reserve and is therefore suitable for more complex test sequences. Compared to the larger versions, it impresses with an optimized power-to-size ratio and a lower power requirement at the mains connection - ideal for laboratory environments with a medium power supply.
