LabVIEW FPGA is a software add-on package for LabVIEW that enables FPGA-based systems to be developed more efficiently and effectively through a highly integrated development environment, IP libraries, a high-fidelity simulator, and debugging functions. The module enables the creation of FPGA VIs that work directly with the input and output values of the FPGA. Your FPGA hardware can be configured for specific applications, for example for communication via digital protocols, for HIL simulation or for rapid control prototyping. Although the LabVIEW FPGA Module already contains many integrated signal processing routines, it also enables the integration of existing code from a hardware description language (HDL) or from third-party IP.
