Note: The adapter PP0004A is required to use the probe with the Autoprobe I interface.
The Hi-Z + Probe PP0001A is Keysight's first passive probe with an analog bandwidth of up to 1 GHz and a capacitive load of less than 4 pF . It offers all of the user-friendly benefits of a passive probe with the performance normally found in an active probe. The AutoProbe I interface offers offset and auto configuration of the probe type and the attenuation setting.
The PP0001A is intended for use on InfiniiVision and Infiniium oscilloscopes with the AutoProbe I interface using the PP0004A adapter .
The probes PP0001A / 2A / 3A are a new generation of Hi-Z + probes in which the probe can be seen as a combination of probe and probe adapter (PP0004A). This combination does not have a fixed damping ratio, but rather several available damping ratios per given V / div setting in order to enable a very large dynamic range and a flat frequency response.
