The network analyzer E5063A of the ENA series fulfills the requirements that are required by a measuring device for the qualification of printed circuit boards in production. Compared to the TDR solutions with oscilloscopes, the E5063A offers the following main functions:

  • Higher accuracy and R & R (Repetability & Reproducibility / repeatability & comparability) for exact repeatability and comparability of the measurements
  • More languages for better usability of the devices and for the feasibility of the measurements in the respective national language
  • Higher ESD robustness, thereby minimizing the error rates of the measuring device due to electrostatic charging.
  • In addition, the best and most cost-effective solution for measuring impedances on a printed circuit board
  • The PCB analyzer consists of the network analyzer E5063A of the ENA series and the TDR option 011.

The network analyzer offers measurements in the frequency domain, the TDR option 011 extends the measurements for the time domain and also offers a specific GUI (graphical user interface) for displaying the measurement results during the PCB test.
