The Fluke 17B+ is a professional, high-precision digital multimeter for electricians, service technicians and ambitious DIY enthusiasts. It combines robust construction, an extended range of functions and user-friendly operation, even when wearing gloves. The device is designed to deliver reliable measurement results in workshops and industrial environments as well as in buildings.

With its CAT III 600 V safety specification, the 17B+ is suitable for testing electrical systems, devices, switches, distribution boards and control cables. Thanks to its extended measurement functions, it also covers a wide range of electronic diagnostic tasks. Typical applications are

  • Voltage and current measurements on installations, devices and machines
  • Troubleshooting in circuits, control systems and electronic components
  • Temperature measurements on components such as motors, cooling systems or cables
  • Frequency and duty cycle measurements for signals and control pulses

Like its sister model, the 15B+, the 17B+ offers AC and DC voltage measurement up to 1.000 V as well as AC and DC current measurement up to 10 A. It also has functions for resistance, continuity, capacitance, diode test and hold function. The backlit 4000-count display ensures excellent readability, even in poorly lit working environments.

The Fluke 17B+ expands the range of functions with important additional functions such as frequency measurement, duty cycle measurement, temperature measurement and REL mode for relative measurements. The large 4000-count LCD with bright backlighting ensures clear readability at all times.

The robust design, combined with high measurement accuracy and a wide range of applications, makes the 17B+ a versatile tool for demanding measurement tasks in trade, service and industry.

This makes the 17B+ particularly suitable for more demanding applications in electronics, service operations and precise diagnostic tasks, while the 15B+ is primarily optimized for basic electrical testing tasks.
