Teledyne FLIR
Image-Streaming and
Smart Sensor Cameras.

Prevent equipment and component failures, production line downtime, and fires.

The Teledyne FLIR A50/A70 and Axxx Series (A400/A500/A700) image-streaming and smart sensor cameras deliver unmatched performance and flexibility for customized, effective thermal monitoring that enhances quality, productivity, maintenance, and safety. With the latest generation of automation-ready thermal cameras, you can detect and identify thermal anomalies across manufacturing and industrial processes, capture accurate thermal data, and analyze it using your in-house software. These models can be configured for standard or advanced image streaming, or as smart sensors, and—thanks to seamless integration and purpose-built software—can be tailored to meet your specific requirements.

Image-Streaming Models: These models transmit images with all associated data to a computer, where the user can perform analysis and decide on further actions. Take advantage of GigE Vision and GenICam compliance to integrate the cameras into your own system.

Smart Sensor Models: These models analyze images onboard and deliver actionable results directly to the user. Use Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, or ONVIF to integrate the cameras into industrial systems (HMI/SCADA, VMS, NVR), or leverage the REST API to transfer data from the camera to a web interface or internet-based application.

Typical Applications.

Quality Control.

  • Monitor the temperature of metal parts after quenching or cooling baths to control hardness
  • Measure temperatures of cooked foods, ovens, refrigeration systems, and packaging
  • Visualize weld seams during execution to verify weld quality
  • Ensure hot glue beads are applied evenly and completely for optimal bonding
  • Verify proper adhesive placement on carton seals

Condition Monitoring.

  • Real-time monitoring of ladles and casting pots to detect cracks early
  • Electrical and mechanical systems in manufacturing and utilities
  • Power utilities: solve challenges of incompatible sensor systems and shortage of skilled IIoT programmers

Early Fire Detection.

  • Detect hot spots before self-ignition and issue warnings
