The Cinergia B2C+ ePlus series is a modular, bidirectional and fully regenerative DC platform designed for laboratory, development and end-of-line testing. It enables energy flow in both directions - as a source or sink - and feeds excess energy cleanly back into the grid. With a power factor > 0.98 and a THDi < 3 % at rated power, it guarantees a grid-friendly and efficient test environment.
Typical fields of application include battery tests, battery and PV emulation, energy storage systems, traction drives, charging infrastructure, avionics systems, smart grid and IEC compliance tests as well as power hardware-in-the-loop (P-HiL) applications. The series offers solutions from 7.5 kW to 160 kW and covers 20,800 V DC standard voltage, with the option of expansion to up to 1,500 V DC in a master/slave network.
The B2C+100 is the high-performance model in the series – designed for industrial tests, validation of large battery packs, inverter tests and demanding P-HiL applications. It offers high current capabilities, excellent dynamics and exceptional power supply efficiency for energy-intensive testing tasks.
The B2C+100 is in the upper performance range of the series and is aimed at users with high power requirements. Compared to smaller models such as the B2C+10 (±45 A) or B2C+30 (±90 A), the B2C+100 offers many times more current capacity with ±390 A in 1-channel mode, which is particularly important for large battery stacks and high-current tests.
Compared to the top models B2C+120 and B2C+160, the B2C+100 is a balanced solution between power, efficiency and space requirements. It offers a very high power supply efficiency (= 92 %), short current step times and the option of connecting several devices in parallel for even higher performance. Like all models in the series, the B2C+100 can also be operated in a master/slave network to realize scaling up to over 1 MW.
