The CA 6417 earth clamp tester from Chauvin Arnoux enables quick and safe measurement of the loop resistance of earths. It is designed for 600 V CAT IV and displays the contact voltage with hazard alarm, which increases safety during measurements.
Ergonomic features such as a force-compensating opening system and a LCD display with very good readability make it easy to use in all lighting conditions. The automatic pre-HOLD mode and the automatic calibration of the iron gap ensure precise and reliable evaluation of the measured values.
Multiple measured variables can be displayed simultaneously:
- Impedance and residual current
- Contact voltage
- Resistive and inductive components of the earth impedance
In addition, impedances converted to values close to the mains frequency are displayed, which reduces measurement errors at low resistances.
A special feature of the CA 6417 is the Bluetooth data transmission. In conjunction with the PC GTC and/or DATAVIEW software, measured values can be recorded in real time, visualized and documented in automatic or individual reports.
An Android app for tablets and smartphones allows measurement data to be displayed as real-time graphs and localized via GPS. The results, including graphs, comments and photos, can be conveniently sent by email.
