P01122115 | CA 6416 Earthing test clamp

The CA 6416 earth clamp tester from Chauvin Arnoux enables quick and safe measurement of the loop resistance of earths. It is designed for 600 V CAT IV and displays the contact voltage with hazard alarm, which increases safety during measurement.

Ergonomic features such as a force-compensating opening system and an easy-to-read LCD display make it easy to use in all lighting conditions. Automatic functions such as Pre-HOLD mode and calibration of the iron gap ensure precise measurement results.

The clamp can display several measured values simultaneously:

  • Impedance and residual current
  • Contact voltage
  • Resistance and inductive component of the earth impedance

In addition, impedances can be converted to values close to the mains frequency, which reduces measurement errors with small resistances.
