The ZES ZIMMER LMG641 Precision Power Analyzer is part of the high-performance LMG600 series and was developed for high-precision electrical measurement tasks. The series is characterized by exceptional measurement accuracy, a high bandwidth, and flexible configuration options. Thanks to its innovative DualPath architecture, the ZES ZIMMER LMG641 enables simultaneous broadband and narrowband measurements without aliasing effects, thus delivering reliable and reproducible results every time.
A key feature of the LMG600 series is the freely configurable power channels. Different channel types (S, A, B, and C channels) can be combined within a single device, allowing the power analyzer to be optimally adapted to a wide variety of measurement requirements.
A key feature of the LMG600 series is the free configurability of the power channels. This is complemented by high dynamic range, measurements from the smallest currents in the µA range up to high currents, and a bandwidth of up to 10 MHz. The power meter is particularly suitable for demanding applications in research, development, and quality assurance. Typical applications include the analysis of electric drive systems, efficiency measurements on frequency converters, long-term measurements in standby mode, and the testing of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. With comprehensive interfaces such as LAN, CAN bus, and USB, as well as the option to integrate additional sensors, the ZES ZIMMER LMG641 offers a high degree of system integration into modern test environments. Within the LMG600 series, the ZES ZIMMER LMG641 represents a particularly versatile model. It combines all five phases of typical test processes – signal acquisition, timing control, integration, calculation, and pass/fail evaluation – in a single device. This reduces the need for external software and minimizes potential sources of error in complex measurement setups. Compared to other configurations in the series, this model offers particularly comprehensive functional integration, including a Process Signal Interface (PSI), event trigger function, and extensive mathematical evaluations directly within the device. Various modular power measurement channels are available for the ZES ZIMMER LMG641, which can be flexibly combined depending on the measurement task. The S and A channels are particularly suitable for high-precision broadband measurements with full dual-path functionality up to 10 MHz, while the B channels cover universal measurement tasks with high accuracy. The C channels were specifically developed for high-precision measurements in the low-frequency range up to 10 kHz. All channel types support voltage, current, and power measurements over a very wide dynamic range, thus enabling optimal adaptation of the system to individual testing and development requirements. Available power measurement channels: L60-CH-S: DC-optimized S-channel for high-precision broadband measurements with DualPath functionality from DC to 10 MHz, 18-bit resolution, and a power accuracy of up to 0.015% + 0.01%. L60-CH-A: High-precision A-channel for broadband measurements with DualPath functionality up to 10 MHz, 18-bit resolution, and very high measurement accuracy for AC applications. L60-CH-B: Universal B-channel for general measurement tasks with DualPath functionality up to 500 kHz, 16-bit resolution and high precision for versatile applications.
