The XJTAG XJIO Board IOC-0012 is a powerful I/O expansion unit for XJTAG test systems that extends the capabilities of boundary-scan testing with numerous digital, analog, and serial interfaces. It provides access to circuit areas and external connections that cannot be reached via JTAG alone, thereby significantly increasing test coverage and the quality of fault diagnosis. Unlike the IOC-0001 variant, the IOC-0012 also features an integrated RS-232/UART interface, making it suitable for testing and communicating with serial devices and embedded systems.
Thanks to its extensive digital and analog inputs and outputs, connections—including those to connectors—can be tested, supply voltages monitored, and analog and digital signals specifically stimulated. In addition, non-JTAG circuits can also be tested using the black-box method. The XJIO Board reduces the need for custom test adapters, improves fault isolation, and shortens development and debugging times in manufacturing, development, and service.
