The Tektronix TICS5000 is a highly sensitive 5-Ω wideband shunt designed for use with the IsoVu isolated current probes TICP100, TICP050, and TICP025. It was specifically designed for the precise measurement of very small currents and enables high-resolution current measurements down to the microampere range while offering exceptionally high bandwidth.
With a bandwidth of 250 MHz and a rise time of just 1.6 ns, the TICS5000 is ideal for power integrity measurements, standby, sleep, and wake-up analyses, as well as for monitoring low-current circuits in embedded, PMIC, and high-performance computing applications. The integrated temperature compensation and protection features—such as fuses, spark gaps, and galvanic isolation—ensure high measurement stability and operational reliability even under demanding test conditions. Thanks to its plug-and-play functionality, integration into existing Tektronix measurement systems is particularly easy.
