The NI-9253 is an 8-channel analog input module for CompactDAQ and CompactRIO systems. Each channel offers an input range of ± 20 mA and a resolution of 24 bits at a sampling rate of 50 kS / s. The NI-9253 has several diagnostic functions to ensure that your system is nominally operating at all times with open channel detection, power supply detection, and configurable thresholds. The NI-9253 has eight LEDs that indicate the status of each channel and power supply so that a field user can easily determine whether the system is operating normally. The NI-9253 also has a number of programmable hardware filters. By choosing the appropriate Butterworth and Comb filters for your application, you can significantly reduce the noise in your system.
