784756-01 | NI 9145 expansion chassis for deterministic Ethernet, 8 slots

The NI ‑ 9145 is a robust EtherCAT slave chassis that supplements CompactRIO, PXI or industrial controllers with two Ethernet connections with deterministic, distributed I / O. The chassis can be programmed in scan mode for rapid expansion of the real-time system or using the FPGA to implement inline processing, acquisition and output, and control at high speed. Starting from the controller, it is possible to connect several NI ‑ 9145 slave chassis in series in order to add additional channels to time-critical applications, while maximum determinism is guaranteed with a minimum processor load.
