The NI ‑ 9260 is an industrial grade dynamic signal generator that you can use to test audio components and functions in consumer electronics, and to provide excitation voltage in structural test applications. Unlike sound card-based solutions, the NI ‑ 9260 can be deployed and recalibrated immediately, ensuring long-term repeatability of measurements and reduced test time. The generator offers overvoltage protection of ± 30 V and short-circuit protection.
