The NI-Industrial Communications for IEC 61850 measurement device driver includes functions for creating LabVIEW applications on Windows computers. The driver supports the unrestricted provision of these LabVIEW functions over TCP / IP networks on PXI controllers or CompactRIO single-board controllers for field applications. It enables the display, loading and validation of SCL files as well as the transfer of files between server and client. The driver also supports data class, record, control class, and report class models. The NI-Industrial Communications for IEC 61850 driver supports unlimited deployment to the following NI real-time hardware targets: CompactRIO, Single-Board RIO, and PXI. The driver is not licensed for deployment on Windows computers.
