The PXI ‑ 8532 is a high ‑ speed DeviceNet interface for application development with the NI ‑ Industrial Communications for DeviceNet driver. DeviceNet is based on the bit transmission layer of CAN and improves the performance and connection options by defining parameters such as the required cable length, connectors and baud rates. DeviceNet specifications are maintained by OVDA, Inc. The PXI ‑ 8532 interface can be programmed in such a way that DeviceNet networks can be supplemented with powerful master / scanner or slave functions.
