780879-01 | NI 9871E, serial RS422 / RS485 module with 4 connections, only board

With the sbRIO-9871 module, CompactRIO systems can be expanded with serial RS-485 and RS-422 connections. The serial ports can be accessed directly from the FPGA, which provides flexibility when communicating with serial devices. The module has individual buffers at each connection, which save space on the FPGA and enable easier programming. The sbRIO ‑ 9870 supports standard settings for start bit, stop bit and handshaking. It uses an external power source for maximum compatibility and reliability. Modules without a housing are designed for OEM applications.
