779976-01 | NI PCIe-6509, digital I/O card (96 channels, 5 V) with driver NI-DAQmx

The PCIe-6509 card can directly supply external digital modules such as solid state relays. Each connection can be configured individually as an input or output, whereby the outputs do not require an external power supply. With the help of programmable switch-on states, users can configure digital I/O states on the software side in such a way that trouble-free and safe operation is guaranteed even when industrial actuators such as pumps, valves, motors or relays are connected. Should a computer or application error occur, digital I/O watchdogs on the PCIe-6509 ensure the transition to a configurable safe output status to detect malfunctions and enable the safe recovery of the system. Programmable input filters are used to remove interference pulses and signal peaks as well as to debounce digital switches and relays using software-adjustable digital filters.
