The Keysight P50xxB series combines precise vector network analysis with a compact form factor for PC-connected operation via Thunderbolt. It is suitable for research, development and production - from the characterization of passive components, connectors, cables and filters to amplifiers and mixers/frequency converters. Optional software functions (e.g. spectrum analysis, pulse RF, TDR) turn the VNA into a versatile RF measurement platform.
The VNA Keysight P5007B presented here is the 2-port model of the high-frequency P500xB variants with a frequency range from 100 kHz to 44 GHz. Compared to the P5006B (up to 32 GHz), the P5007B offers additional headroom into the upper Ka- and lower Q-band range - ideal for broadband filters, power amplifiers, precise antenna matching, mixer/converter tests as well as radar and satcom preamplifiers. It combines high dynamic range with very low trace noise for precise S-parameter measurements. The P5008B variant with 53 GHz is positioned above the P5007B. If you need more measurement ports, we recommend the P502xB models with 4-port up to 53 GHz or 6-port up to 20 GHz.

- Maximum output power: up to +13 dBm (typical, up to 4.5 GHz); decreasing at higher frequencies - ideal for linear excitation and good SNR.
- Very low trace noise: Magnitude typ. 0.0005 dB rms (with suitable IF bandwidth) for high-precision results.
- Fine frequency resolution & accuracy: Resolution 1 Hz; frequency accuracy typ. in the ppm range.
- Level accuracy: typ. up to ±0.2 dB (up to 15 GHz) for reproducible power and gain measurements.
- Robust inputs: permissible damage level +27 dBm or ±35 V DC.
- Connectivity & references: Thunderbolt 3/4 (USB4) to host PC, 10 MHz Ref-In/Out, additional USB-A ports for peripherals.
- Multi-port measurements: Connection of two basic devices with Y1701A interconnect cable kits.
