Please note: This special item includes the option 8494G-002 SMA sockets for 8494G.

The manual step attenuator 8494G can be used to program a signal attenuation of 0 to 11 dB in 1 dB steps for a bandwidth of 0 Hz to 4 GHz.
Within the frequency range up to 4 GHz, it offers very good stability and repeat accuracy of the attenuation. This is achieved by gold-plated spring contacts, which also guarantee a long service life - over 5 million switching cycles - with a repeat accuracy of typically 0.01 dB.

The UK6 option offers greater accuracy and traceability to the NIST standard (SWR (standing wave ratio) and attenuation).

Higher attenuations can be achieved by connecting several attenuators in series. The 11716A/B/C connection sets offer a quick connection with the 8494/5/6/7 attenuators, which have an attenuator step of 1 dB or 10 dB.
