The GW Instek DC laboratory power supplies of the PLR series are a consequent further development to better meet the requirements of the users. The high quality DC sources simplify and accelerate your processes. They are suitable for research and development, test methods and in the manufacturing process.
With its hybrid circuit design, the GW Instek PLR 60-12 combines the advantages of a linear and programmable switching power supply. The switch-mode power supply structure on the front reduces size and weight. The linear structure on the back guarantees low ripple and noise (0.5 mV RMS / 5 mA RMS ) as well as fast switching times (100 µs).
An RS-232 interface for a PC is installed as standard (USB, LAN, GPIB optionally available). Program sequence sequences with up to 100 steps and a minimum step duration of 50 ms on your computer. Save your 3 most frequently used settings directly on one of the quick access buttons and save yourself a lot of time. The automatic output-out timer can be set between 1 minute and 1000 hours 59 minutes. Of course, the PLR 60-12 has overvoltage, undervoltage and overcurrent protection. The Constant Current (CC) priority function prevents overshoot and inrush current. The DC power supply can be monitored remotely (terminal open). Voltage and current can be set using the digits on the display (coarse or fine setting can be selected). To avoid operating errors, the control panel has a lock function.
Connect up to 3 GW Instek PLR 60-12 in parallel (thus up to 60 V / 36 A can be implemented) or 2 devices in series (120 V / 12 A can be implemented).
