The PHU series from GW Instek is a highly flexible and powerful solution for modern DC test environments. It uses advanced SiC semiconductor technology and offers maximum adaptability to different test requirements with the multi-range output. The integrated web interface, extensive communication options and compact design make the series ideal for the laboratory, test field and industrial automation.

General features of the series:

Multi-range output: One device covers various voltage/current combinations - flexibly and economically.
Advanced Web Server (AWS): Full control via browser - platform-independent, no software required.
Adaptive Parallel Connection (APC): Expandable to up to 10 devices with up to 300 kW total output (depending on model).
Extensive interfaces: LAN, USB (type A/B), EtherCAT, CANopen, Modbus, Profinet, DeviceNet.
Safety and convenience functions: CV/CC priority, bleeder switching, slew rate control, resistance simulation, panel lock.

The PHU 500-60-D model offers a maximum output power of 30 kW with up to 500 VDC voltage and a maximum current of 60 A. It is ideal for power-intensive applications in the medium voltage range, such as those frequently found in electromobility, industrial automation and power electronics.
