Gossen Metrawatt VL2 E adapter for testing protective conductor and insulation resistance of devices and extension cables in connection with test devices from Benning and Gossen Metrawatt.
The test adapter is designed to measure and test electrical devices and extension cables with CEE plug devices in conjunction with test devices in accordance with the following regulation: DIN VDE 0701-0702 (test after repair and repeat tests).
The adapter can be used to test the following sizes in conjunction with test devices intended for these tests:
on electrical devices: - protective conductor resistance - insulation resistance (measurement L1 / L2 / L3 and N short-circuited to PE) - substitute leakage current
on extension cables: - protective conductor resistance - insulation resistance (measurement L1 / L2 / L3 and N short-circuited to PE) - function test on single and three-phase extension cables for wire continuity, short circuit and reverse polarity (clockwise rotating field) - simply via insulation resistance measurement using a rotary switch
