AN250W | Anemometer with Connectivity to the ExView App

The Extech AN250W is a compact anemometer designed to simultaneously measure air velocity and ambient temperature. The readings are displayed on a large, backlit dual-LCD screen and can also be transmitted to a smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth. When used with the free ExView app, measurement data can be viewed, recorded, analyzed, and shared.

The meter is particularly well-suited for professionals in the fields of building services engineering, HVAC, and maintenance. Typical applications include monitoring HVAC and ventilation systems, checking cooling airflows in manufacturing, fan testing, equipment inspections, and research and development tasks. In addition, the AN250W can be used to measure wind speed during thermographic inspections, as well as for applications in sports and boating.

For convenient measurement data analysis, the device offers maximum and average value functions, a data-hold function, and an automatic shut-off feature to conserve battery life. Using the ExView app, you can view measurement trends, set audible limit alarms, and export data in CSV format. You can also create and send PDF reports with photos of the respective measurement location. Up to eight compatible Extech Connected 250W series meters can be connected to the app simultaneously.
