11200 | Capacitor leakage current / IR meter

The Chroma 11200 capacitor leakage current / insulation resistance meter (LC Capacitor Leakage Current and IR Insulation Resistance Meter) is a digital meter for leakage current. It has a DC power source with 1 - 650 VDC, 0.5 mA - 500 mA (150 mA for V> 100 V) or a DC power source with 1 - 800 VDC, 0.5 mA - 500 mA (50 mA for V> 100 V). It is mainly used for leakage current testing of electrolytic capacitors and for dielectric strength testing of aluminum foils (EIAJ RC-2364A). In addition, it can be used to check the active voltage or for leakage current testing of absorption systems, Zener diodes, neon lamps, etc.

A contact failure between a DUT and the measuring surface of an automatic component handler is a factor for comparison errors when testing production systems. The contact check with the integrated measuring function (option) improves the accuracy and efficiency of the comparison.

A standard RS-232 interface, an optional GPIB & handler interface, extremely fast and stable measurement functions enable the Chroma 11200 to be used for component evaluation in production plants and a basic leakage current test for benchtop applications.
