The MDL4UB series from B&K Precision offers a highly flexible system of modular electronic DC loads for testing a wide range of power supply sources. The modular 4U platform can be equipped with up to four modules and expanded to up to 16 channels. This makes it ideal for applications in research, development, quality assurance and production test systems.
The extensive functions include operating modes such as constant current (CC), constant voltage (CV), constant resistance (CR) and constant power (CW), 16-bit measurement resolution, a transient mode with up to 25 kHz, list mode with 84 programmable steps and adjustable slew rate. Thanks to standard interfaces such as USB, LAN, RS232 and GPIB, the series is fully ATE-compatible and can be easily integrated into existing test environments.
Module variant MDL4U505B
The MDL4U505B model is a single-channel high-voltage DC load module with a maximum voltage of 600 V, a current range of up to 30 A and a total output of 500 W. It is particularly suitable for testing high-power DC loads. It is particularly suitable for testing powerful HV power supplies, battery systems, solar solutions or other industrial applications where high voltage and moderate current are required.
Differences to other variants
- MDL4U305B: Also 600 V, but with only 300 W power and 20 A current - less power overall.
- MDL4U502B: Dual channel with 300 W - lower power, but two independent channels at 600 V.
- MDL4U600B: 80 V / 120 A - suitable for high current, but not high voltage applications.
- MDL4U302B: Dual channel with 600 W at only 80 V - more power, but not designed for HV systems.
