The MDL4UB series from B&K Precision is a versatile, modular electronic load system in a compact 4U form factor. It is designed for demanding tests of power supplies, batteries, fuel cells and photovoltaic applications. The modular design allows up to four load modules to be combined in one main chassis, with support for up to 16 channels when using a main frame extension. The series offers multiple operating modes such as constant current (CC), constant voltage (CV), constant resistance (CR) and constant power (CW).
Typical applications include automatic test equipment (ATE), product development, quality control and industrial manufacturing environments. The high accuracy, integrated protection functions and communication interfaces such as LAN, USB, RS232 and GPIB make the series particularly attractive for professional test environments.
Module variant MDL4U102B
The model MDL4U102B is a dual-channel DC load module that offers a total output of up to 200 W. It is ideal for applications with low voltage (up to 80 V) and medium current requirements (up to 20 A). The power can be flexibly split between the two channels (e.g. 150 W/50 W or 100 W/100 W).
Differences to other variants
- MDL4U200B: Single-channel module with 200 W and 40 A - higher current with the same power.
- MDL4U252B: Dual-channel with 300 W - higher total power than the 102B module.
- MDL4U302B: Dual-channel with 600 W - significantly more powerful, also 80 V.
- MDL4U305B: Single-channel with 600 V - suitable for high-voltage applications.
