The MDL4UB series from B&K Precision is a modular, programmable DC load characterized by versatility, precision and system compatibility. With up to 16 channels supported with expansion and modules from 200 W to 600 W, it offers flexible solutions for a wide range of applications in the test and development of energy sources such as power supplies, batteries, solar modules and fuel cells.
The series enables operation in four modes: constant current (CC), constant voltage (CV), constant resistance (CR) and constant power (CW). Other functions include an adjustable slew rate, a transient mode up to 25 kHz, a list mode with 84 programmable steps and comprehensive interfaces such as USB, LAN, RS232 and GPIB for integration into automated test systems.
Module variant MDL4U305B
The MDL4U305B model is a single-channel DC load module with a particularly wide voltage range of up to 600 V, an output of 300 W and a maximum current of 20 A. It is ideal for high-voltage applications such as testing solar systems, HV power supplies or DC buses in industrial environments. The high voltage capacity is the main differentiator compared to other modules in the series.
Differences to other variants
- MDL4U302B: Dual channel with 600 W at only 80 V - better for high current applications with low voltage.
- MDL4U505B: 600 V / 500 W - more power at the same voltage, but also single-channel.
- MDL4U252B: Dual-channel with 300 W - double the number of channels, but only 80 V max.
- MDL4U102B: Dual channel with 200 W - lower power and no high voltage.
