The PicoScope 5000E series comprises high-resolution PC-based oscilloscopes designed for precise measurements and fast signal analysis. The instruments combine 16-bit resolution with high sampling rates, large memory, and extensive analysis capabilities. Thanks to their high dynamic range and low inherent noise, these oscilloscopes are particularly well-suited for demanding applications in development, embedded systems, automotive, research, and industry.
The series features extensive trigger functions, FFT spectrum analysis, DeepMeasure analysis, serial protocol decoding, and integrated function and arbitrary waveform generators. The Plus models complement the high-resolution 16-bit technology with a powerful 8-bit mode featuring higher bandwidth, higher sampling rates, and larger memory. The MSO variants also expand the devices with 16 digital channels for mixed-signal applications.
Differences from the other variants
The PicoScope 5464E+ MSO is the most powerful mixed-signal model in the entire PicoScope 5000E+ series. The instrument combines four analog channels with 16 digital inputs and offers both high-precision 16-bit measurements and an additional 8-bit high-speed mode for particularly fast signals.
In 16-bit mode, the model offers a bandwidth of 200 MHz for high-precision measurement tasks. In 8-bit mode, bandwidths up to 500 MHz and sampling rates up to 5 GS/s are available. Compared to the 5462E+ MSO and 5463E+ MSO, this device offers the highest bandwidth and fastest rise time in the entire series. This makes the PicoScope 5464E+ MSO ideal for demanding mixed-signal analysis, embedded development, high-speed electronics, and near-RF applications.
