The PicoScope 5000E series comprises high-resolution PC-based oscilloscopes designed for precise measurements and fast signal analysis. The instruments combine 16-bit resolution with high sampling rates, large memory, and extensive analysis capabilities. Thanks to low inherent noise and a wide dynamic range, these oscilloscopes are particularly well-suited for demanding applications in development, research, embedded systems, and industry.
The series features extensive trigger functions, FFT spectrum analysis, serial protocol decoding, DeepMeasure analysis, Math channels, and integrated function and arbitrary waveform generators. The Plus models extend the classic 16-bit architecture with a powerful 8-bit mode featuring higher bandwidth, higher sampling rates, and double the memory. This allows both high-precision analog signals and fast digital and near-RF signals to be analyzed with a single instrument.
Differences from the other variants
The PicoScope 5464E+ is the most powerful model in the PicoScope 5000E+ series. In 16-bit mode, the device offers a bandwidth of 200 MHz for high-precision measurements. Additionally, an 8-bit high-speed mode is available with up to 500 MHz bandwidth and a sampling rate of up to 5 GS/s. This makes the model ideal for demanding laboratory, development, and RF applications.
Compared to the 5462E+ and 5463E+, the 5464E+ offers the highest bandwidth and the fastest rise time within the entire 5000E+ series. At the same time, the instrument features expanded memory and the flexibility to switch between high-resolution 16-bit precision and maximum speed in 8-bit mode.
