The NI Ettus USRP B310 is a host-bound 2×2 software-defined radio (SDR) designed for research, prototyping, and use in modern wireless systems. It features 2 TX and 2 RX channels with two independent local oscillators and offers a maximum real-time bandwidth of 100 MHz per channel. The RF frequency range extends from 400 MHz to 7.2 GHz.
An integrated GPSDO as well as external reference and PPS interfaces are available for precise time and frequency synchronization. Multiple B310 units can be synchronized without additional external clock hardware; up to four devices allow for an 8×8 configuration. A programmable AMD Kintex-7 XC7K325T FPGA and 1 GB of DDR3 memory support high-performance signal processing. The platform is supported by UHD starting with version 4.11 and is RFNoC-capable.
The enclosed version 790414-01 is housed in a passively cooled enclosure and connects to the host PC via Thunderbolt 3 or newer. This makes it particularly suitable for laboratories, education, research, and prototyping when a compact, ready-to-use SDR solution is required.
