The NI FieldDAQ series comprises high-performance data acquisition systems (DAQ) that have been specially developed for extreme environmental conditions. These devices enable precise measurements directly at the sensor source, even under extreme temperatures, vibrations or humidity. Thanks to the protection classes IP65/IP67 and their robust design, they are ideally suited for outdoor use and harsh conditions.
Typical areas of application include:
- Environmental and structural tests
- HALT tests (Highly Accelerated Life Test)
- NVH analyses (Noise, Vibration, Harshness)
- Tests of rocket engines and flight structures
- Field tests on off-road vehicles
- Academic research (e.g. wind tunnel and climate tests). Academic research (e.g. wind tunnel and climate chamber measurements)
With support for different sensor types (voltage, temperature, IEPE, strain measurement) and compatibility with NI FlexLogger™, LabVIEW, Python and C/C++, FieldDAQ offers a flexible and powerful solution for modern measurement systems.
Features and differences:
The FD-11601 variant is a versatile voltage input module with integrated sensor power supply. It offers 8 channels for analog ±10 V signals and is ideal for structural mechanical tests or general measurement tasks with sensor power supply.
Differences to other variants:
- FD-11614: Specially for thermocouples (type J, K, T, E, N, B, R, S) with 16 channels
- FD-11634: For IEPE sensors such as microphones and acceleration sensors
- FD-11637: For strain gauges (quarter, half and full bridge)
