The PCIe-8398 is a host interface card for controlling a PXI Express chassis via a software-transparent PCI Express x16 connection of the 3rd generation. The PCIe-8398 is accommodated in a PCI-Express x16 slot of a desktop PC or a PC for rack mounting and via x8 copper cable (3rd generation) with the PXI module for control via the PXIe-8398 or network PXIe-8399 connected.
