The GPIB-USB-HS controller module according to IEEE-488 is suitable for computers with USB slots. This module can be used to add a measurement device to a system using GPIB. It can also be used to detect and troubleshoot GPIB hardware and software. With the GPIB‑USB‑HS, maximum performance can be achieved based on the IEEE‑488.2 standard. Because no GPIB cable is required to connect to instruments, up to 14 programmable GPIB instruments can be controlled via the Hi-Speed USB port. The device ensures size compatibility with almost any measurement hardware, offers functions for data analysis and reduces overhead, so that the turnaround times for applications are reduced. The module includes a license for the NI‑488.2 driver software for maximum reliability when connecting to third-party instruments with GPIB.
