The PCIe‑GPIB+ includes an IEEE‑488 controller and analyzer on a single card for computers with PCIe slots. This module can be used to add a measurement device to a system using GPIB. It can also be used to detect and troubleshoot GPIB hardware and software. The PCIe‑GPIB+ achieves maximum transfer rates according to IEEE 488.2. Thanks to the integrated bus master DMA controller, interruptions in data transfer are prevented by the microprocessor. The module includes a license for the NI‑488.2 driver software for maximum reliability when connecting to third-party instruments with GPIB.
