The Spicy ONE MM from NetPeppers is a compact, wireless Tier 1 certifier for standards-compliant testing and acceptance of multimode fiber optic cabling. The measurement system operates at 850 nm and 1300 nm and is fully controlled via the NP-Connect app on a smartphone or tablet. Measurement results, test settings, and threshold values are clearly displayed and can be compared with one another immediately.

The Spicy ONE MM is particularly well-suited for fiber optic installers, service technicians, and project managers working on building, campus, and Layer 4 network cabling. It enables the measurement of insertion loss, fiber length, time delay, and polarity. In AutoTest mode, up to two fibers can be tested simultaneously. The results can be evaluated according to ISO/IEC, DIN/EN, TIA, and IEEE standards, documented, and exported as a PDF report.

Thanks to interchangeable adapters, the device supports the common connector types LC, SC, FC, and ST. Various measurement configurations—such as loop testing, two-ended unidirectional or bidirectional testing, and single-fiber testing—enable flexible use during installation, troubleshooting, quality assurance, and acceptance testing. Measurement values are transmitted in real time to the NP-Connect app via Bluetooth. There, projects, user permissions, and measurement results can be managed, and reports can be saved and shared via cloud services.
