The CFS-100 from NetPeppers is a lightweight, flexible, and core-centering fusion splicer designed for professional fiber-optic work. Thanks to its three-axis controlled core centering and numerous automatic functions, it enables precise and reliably reproducible splices. The average splice time is no more than nine seconds, while the device is ready for use after about five seconds.
The device is suitable for both small-scale installations and large-scale fiber-optic projects. It processes all common single-mode and multimode fibers as well as pigtails, patch cords, and SOC connectors. Removable universal fiber holders, a separate SOC holder, an integrated thermometer, and a barometer enable flexible use in various work environments. The flip-up display also allows for operation from the front or back. An automatic shrink oven speeds up the processing of splice protectors and supports an efficient workflow.
