The origins of the company date back to the early 1900s, when Metrawatt AG and Paul Gossen GmbH were founded. In 1993, these two traditional companies merged to form Gossen Metrawatt GmbH.
Gossen Metrawatt products are used in a variety of applications, including electrical trades, industrial processes, and medical environments.
The portfolio includes, among others, device testers in accordance with VDE 0701, VDE 0702, and VDE 0751-1 standards, installation testers, machine testers, digital multimeters, current clamps, insulation testers, as well as specialized test instruments for photovoltaic systems.
