The Gossen Metrawatt METRALINE PV 1500 is a robust, handy clamp meter for demanding electrical measurements in industry, trade, electromobility and photovoltaics. Thanks to the large, drop-shaped clamp opening (35 mm), even busbars and densely packed cables can be safely gripped. TrueRMS (TRMS) ensures precise results with distorted signals, while the CAT IV/1000 V measurement category guarantees maximum safety in harsh environments.

Typical applications include the commissioning and maintenance of PV systems (up to 1500 V DC), troubleshooting in AC/DC networks, testing control and charging circuits in the e-mobility environment as well as general installation and service work. Useful functions such as non-contact voltage testing (NCV), LPF low-pass filter, illuminated display and integrated flashlight make everyday work easier - even in poorly lit distribution boards.

The PV 1500 model combines high dielectric strength up to 1500 V DC with current measurement up to 1000 A (AC/DC) in a compact, shock-resistant design. With a 4000-count display, auto-range, min/max/hold and μA range via sockets, it is suitable for both rough power purposes and sensitive control circuits.
