The Extech VIR50 is a powerful infrared video thermometer with an integrated camera and dual laser technology. It is ideal for precise non-contact temperature measurements in industry, maintenance, energy supply, building technology, production, quality control, security and diagnostics. Thanks to the combination of IR measurement, camera function and data storage, the VIR50 enables clear documentation of measuring points and temperature curves.
The two laser beams precisely mark the optimum measuring distance by intersecting at a 1" measuring point. This facilitates precise measurements even for components that are far away or difficult to access. A colored LED bar indicates temperature trends, while a 2.2" color display clearly shows all relevant data - including min/max/avg/diff, humidity, air temperature as well as time and date stamps.
The integrated camera module (640 × 480 px) enables JPEG photos and 3GP videos to be recorded directly onto a microSD card. This data can then be transferred to the PC for reports, analysis or documentation. The VIR50 also has a type K thermocouple input, which enables contact measurements in addition to non-contact IR measurement.
Other functions such as adjustable emissivity, high/low alarm, continuous measurement via trigger lock, USB interface and a particularly fast response time of 150 ms make the VIR50 a versatile tool for professional users.
