Description

DE8211 | Box Type Bus Coupler, 1 Stub RTRM, MIL-STD-1553

The DEICO MIL-STD-1553 Box Type Bus Coupler series offers a reliable and cost-effective solution for complex bus architectures. These bus couplers ensure stable data transmission through transformer coupling and high isolation, and are designed for industrial and military applications.

Typical applications for the DEICO MIL-STD-1553 bus couplers include communication systems, avionics platforms, and test and development environments.

The DE8211 model is a box type bus coupler with a single stub and right-hand termination. Compared to the DE8201, this model offers integrated bus termination with 78.7 ohms ±1% (2W), eliminating the need for additional external termination components. Unlike variants with multiple stubs, the DE8211 is optimized for simple bus structures. Product features of the series: Transformer ratio: 1:1.41 Stub resistance: 59 ohms ±1% (1W) Characteristic impedance: 78 ohms Common mode rejection: -45 dB max @ 1 MHz Droop: max. 20% at 250 kHz Overshoot & Ringing: ±1.0 V peak Stub voltage: 1.0 V to 14.0 V p-p Bus input impedance: min. 3000 ohms Housing material: Aluminum, 2 mm Operating temperature: -55°C to +125°C
