ITC_KAT2_241209 | Seminar: itc certification course category 2 according to ISO 18436-7 in Frankfurt on December 9th - 13th, 2024

This ITC certification course is based on the required training content for thermographers of ISO 18434, ISO 18436 and the ASNT guideline SNT-TC-1A. It has been carried out by the ITC since 2000 in 50 countries and in 20 languages.

Participants deal with various areas of infrared thermography in order to increase knowledge about the physical aspects of infrared radiation and to deepen and expand knowledge about thermal processes as well as infrared measurement technology and their applications. Category 2 thermographers assist other employees (Category 1) with equipment selection, procedures, limitations, data analysis, corrective actions and range creation.

Requirements:

  • Valid Category 1 thermography certificate
  • IR camera (all manufacturers), rental camera possible if necessary

  • Prepared case study for presentation in the course and submission for qualification

Duration: 5 days including exam (ITC-CER-5201)
